FIELD: chemical technology applicable in production of synthetic fuels. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of mixture of coal; paste- forming agent and iron-containing catalyst subjected to mechanochemical treatment together with elementary sulfur; heating of obtained mixture under pressure of hydrogen with subsequent of desired products. Paste- forming agent is used in form of polyethylene or polypropylene taken in amount of 25-75 wt% of weight of mixture and iron-containing catalyst.
