FIELD: chemistry, particularly, precipitation of hexavalent chrome from solutions; applicable in various processes including purification of sewage waters from hexavalent chrome. SUBSTANCE: method includes adding to treated solution of sodium thiosulfate in stoichiometric ratio to substances containing hexavalent chrome. Then, solution is exposed to radiation with electronic beam with dose of 10-30 Mrad. EFFECT: simplified method of purification of solutions containing hexavalent chrome and high purification efficiency. 1 tbl, 1 ex.
