FIELD: technology of inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves electrolytical synthesis on titanium anodes from manganese sulfate solutions containing sulfuric acid followed by additional treatment of anode precipitate in high-energy-intensed grinding apparatus. Mechanochemical activation of anode precipitate is carried out in planetary mill (at 50g) for 3-10 min. Additional treatment ensures to increase specific electric energy of chemical current source in Zn-MnO2 system made on the base of mechanically activated manganese dioxide by 30-60%, to 120 Wt x h/kg.
