FIELD: gas analysis. SUBSTANCE: spectrometer of nonlinearity of drift of ions is intended for determination of concentration of microimpurities of substances in gas atmosphere, in particular, in atmospheric air. It can also be used as detector in gas chromatography. Proposed spectrometer of nonlinearity of drift of ions includes ionization chamber with inlet for analyzed gas and outlet for gas release, ionization source, system of electrodes, ion aperture, separation chamber formed by two opposite electrodes and connected with inlet to source of carrier gas and ionization chamber through ion aperture and with outlet to ion register, generators of periodic polarity-asymmetric voltage and slowly changing compensation voltage connected to electrodes of separation chamber, generator of pulse voltage with variable pulse repetition frequency connected to electrodes of ionization chamber. Aperture and outlet from ionization chamber may be the same. EFFECT: expansion of dynamic range, increased sensitivity and noise immunity while determining concentration of microimpurities in gases. 1 cl, 2 dwg
